Over the past two hundred years，pedagogy has been generally placed in the context of Western discourse systems. With the progress of science and technology， and the development of society， pedagogy based on industrialization has increasingly become unable to reflect the characteristics of education today and the requirements of future development，let alone the achievements，experience，pathway and model of Chinese educational modernization.To build a world-class pedagogy，we must achieve the historic turn of pedagogy. Specifically，we need to lead the discourse of pedagogy based on the reality of China，the features of the times and the needs of the future；do the practice of scientific research；create new ways of cultivating talents in pedagogy；and provide high-quality pedagogy-related social services. To build world-class disciplines，colleges and universities must create a new academic construction system，and move from a vertical structure to a diversified and interactive structure；and develop a corresponding operating mechanism，expand the influence of Chinese pedagogy in the world，lead the development of pedagogy，developfuture-oriented pedagogy，and build a discourse system of Chinese pedagogy.
