The 2023 Annual Papers of the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations released

The selection of “Annual Papers of the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations” was organized and initiated by the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Association in 2013. It promotes original academic achievements made by Shanghai-based scholars, published in Chinese academic journals, which have attracted extensive attention in the academic community within the year. 

It aims to reflect the development of philosophy and social science in Shanghai, lead the academic community, and highlight the themes of the times. In 2023, the Federation jointly made the annual paper selection with China University Academic Abstract, Fudan University’s National Experiment Base for Intelligent Society Evaluation and Governance, and the new media thepaper.cn, to further explore and innovate the social science academic evaluation system. In the end, 10 annual papers and 1 annual youth paper were selected after multiple rounds of review and recommendations involving many leading scholars, chief editors of academic journals, and senior academic editors.
